Project overview
Midday sun on tarmac bounces up into the subject from below, and the background is a working street with signage, parked cars and building clutter.
Transformation details
The tarmac bounce was corrected out of the skin's underside, which is where harsh overhead light does its damage.
Background distractions were removed and the remaining structures simplified in tone so they stop competing.
The vehicle's colour was lifted and its highlights cleaned so it reads as the frame's second subject.
Skin was evened and the harsh shadow under the chin opened up.
