The workflow

  1. Send the concept and the material

Order through the catalog and share the source frames, plus the sketch, layout or reference that describes the image you want built.

  2. We scope it against the files

We confirm what the image involves and say clearly what cannot be built from the material supplied, before any work starts.

  3. Construction

Scene built in layers — perspective, scale, light, shadow and atmosphere — with retouching carried out in context rather than beforehand.

  4. Review and revisions

You review at full resolution and raise notes. Revisions are worked in and the final files are delivered in the formats you need.

Frequently asked

  • How much source material do you need?

Enough that the idea is physically possible from it. Send everything you have, including frames you discounted — an unused exposure is often what supplies a missing shadow or a piece of background.

  • Why is this priced as a range?

Because a two-element composite and a fully constructed scene are both advanced work and are not the same job. The catalog shows the range and the actual scope is agreed against your files before work starts.

  • Can you work to a layout?

Yes, and it is better if you send one. Building to the real crop, aspect ratio and text placement avoids an image that works on its own and then fails in position.

  • Do you use generative AI to build these?

The work is built from the photographs you supply. If a brief would require generating material that was never shot, we raise it with you and agree the approach rather than deciding it silently.

  • What if the concept is not achievable?

We tell you at scoping. It is a better conversation to have before the work starts than to deliver a compromised version of an idea you were attached to.
