Suspended Figures, Monochrome Composite
Creative composite
Two studio captures on a plain seamless are rebuilt into one weightless monochrome scene with added wings and a shared light direction.

Project overview
The source is a studio frame on white seamless with the posing stool, the floor seam and the wall join all visible. Two figures were photographed in one take but the frame reads as a set-up rather than a picture: nothing places them, and the horizon of the seamless tells the viewer exactly where the camera was standing.
Transformation details
The seamless was rebuilt as an even field so the figures float instead of standing in a room, and the stool and floor join were removed rather than blurred.
A feather element was built in and matched to the light already on the bodies, so the wing reads as lit by the same source rather than pasted in.
The whole frame was taken to a controlled monochrome with the contrast placed on the skin and the feathers, which is what keeps the shapes readable once the colour is gone.
