Project overview
The frame is a wide studio shot with a pale wall and a bare floor. The costume carries the theme; nothing else in the picture does.
Transformation details
A cloud wall was built to fill the whole background at a scale that matches the costume's own graphic style.
A wooden floor was laid in at the capture's real perspective, taken from the shadow the subject already casts.
Props were placed to the left and right at a distance that frames without crowding, each given its own floor shadow.
The grade was warmed slightly so the set and the costume share one temperature.
